The Patterson Test Equipment division of BCET has produced a range of Earthing Sticks for use with its high-voltage test equipment. The earthing sticks are designed to ensure that the equipment that is being tested can be discharged safely after testing has been completed. These earthing sticks can be supplied to customers who wish to use them with their own test equipment.
A comprehensive range of fully tested non-resistive earthing sticks are available for use with ac flash testers, dc insulation testers and other specialist testing equipment such as tracking test sets and electrophoresis equipment.
For discharging equipment with a high capacitance load, standard models fitted with discharge resistors can be supplied for use when testing up to 40kVdc and 80kVdc. The company is able to manufacture earthing sticks to meet customers’ specific requirements.
